SYLMAR, Calif. - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Two baby porcupines have been introduced to the Wildlife Learning Center. Come visit the WLC and see the furry and adorable baby porcupines; Betty and Allen. The names were selected by no other than Betty White.

The Wildlife Learning Center is located in Sylmar, CA. WLC is open to the public 7 days of the week from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and admission is only $7 for adults, $6 for children. For an additional charge you have an opportunity to get hands on encounters with animals. That includes having the opportunity to feeding and petting some animals.  With low prices, compared to a large zoo it is a great opportunity to come and see over 50 species that include; lynxes, prairie dogs, kinkajous, snakes, lizards, tortoises, alligators and a bald eagle to name a few.

David Riherd stated; “Caring for these animals that cannot live in the wild on their own is our goal, and feels good to give them a place to live”. “The WLC is great for children because it’s nearby and it’s an opportunity to see different species that are not likely to be seen unless it was at a big zoo”
