LEAP into Summer Reading Camp for Kids

Scholarships available for children's reading program thanks to a Dollar General literacy grant

TONAWANDA, N.Y. - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Buffalo, New York – July 7, 2014 – This month, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded Literacy Empowerment Action Plan of WNY (LEAP of WNY) a $1500 grant to support LEAP’s Summer Reading Camp a program for children who are experiencing difficulties with reading and writing. This will help provide scholarships for children to their successful summer reading program. Every student is matched to their own teacher to maximize learning.

LEAP of WNY is very pleased to have received this grant for their successful Summer Reading Camp Program, now in its eighth year of operation.

The Summer Reading Camp runs on Tuesday and Thursday beginning July 29, 2014. Full details are available on LEAP’s website at www.leapofwny.org. To apply for a scholarship or enrollment please call 873-0429 or email carol@leapofwny.org.
