Laugh It Off with Lenny Marcus LIVE at The Burke Theater in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- July 12, 2014 - WorldWide Comedy Entertainment presents the Laugh It Off event in our nation's capital with headliner comedian Lenny Marcus featuring Andy Pitz and Vijai Nathan.

Lenny has been a stand-up comedian for over 15 years recently appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman for the second time in March 2014 to amazing reviews.  He has also performed stand-up on Comedy Central's live at Gotham, AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, NBC's Friday Nite, and NBC's Comedy Showcase with Louie Anderson.  Lenny has also appeared on TruTV's World's Dumbest series making fun of criminals.  You may have also seen him in commercials for the MTV Video Movie Awards, Wendy's and Marriott or heard some of his radio characters in commercials for Southwestern Bell Telephone or Priceline.com.

Lenny Marcus's clean cut style matches his simple but casual attire.  Feel at ease to laugh your head off.  Most of his comedy stems from his experiences living in New York City with the everyday nuances of city living.  From criticizing the New York City mass transit system to relationship matters to technology and everything in between.  Nothing is off limits so expect the unexpected.  Lenny has two comedy CD's out called "You're Getting a Zero" and "Idiots, Toasters, Meredith - and other things hazardous to your health".

The show will also feature Andy Pitz coming from the New York City comedy scene.  He has been also featured on The Late Show with David Letterman and the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.  Andy is the funny, nice guy next door.  His comedy is mostly clean, but occasionally you can find him doing the not so clean comedy.  Andy's quick wit and humor make him take subjects like fatherhood, marriage and social networking to a new level of comedic genius.  Andy's latest comedy CD entitled "More Mr. Nice Guy" is available on itunes.

Hosting the show is Vijai Nathan, one of the few leading female comedians making you laugh coming from the DMV.  She has opened for Russell Peters and has been featured on the wildly popular NPR show "Snap Judgment" in Sept. & Feb. 2013. CBS online called Vijai one of the best comics in DC.

Vijai's humor stems from her growing up in a household of immigrant parents in a suburb of Washington, DC.  Much of her stand-up comedy addresses the issues of dating, growing up as an Indian in America, cultural clashes with her parents and racism she experienced as a child and adult.
