Star Promoz Moves Fundraiser Date Forward Due To Immediate Need, Announces Location

The INN requests children friendly food items due to the number of children out of school and in need.

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Star Promoz announced last week it would be holding a food drive for children friendly food items in late summer, but has decided to move the date forward to July 17, 2014 in order to provide the items to The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) earlier than originally anticipated. The Business Partners at 200 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge, NY has been announced as the location for the fundraiser.

"Many of my key clients are non-profits so I understand that their timelines are often stricter and there is an immediate need for these items," said Helen Zagaro, owner of Star Promoz.  "I respect the work of The INN, who operates a network of 14 soup kitchens and 22 homeless shelters throughout Nassau and Suffolk. When I learned about the surge of ‘little guests’ who come to their soup kitchens in the summer, I knew Long Island businesses could come together to make a difference," said Zagaro.

Star Promoz has been contacted by interested business partners since the earlier release last week. Their first official sponsor is Restoration Dry Cleaners, who serve the greater New York area. On social media, volunteers are offering their assistance beyond the event date, such as picking up donations and sharing the event with their network.
