Connie Scheffler Named SMA Nursing Director

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - July 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Daytona Beach, FL – SMA Behavioral Healthcare is pleased to announce that Connie Scheffler R.N. has been promoted to Director of Nursing at SMA’s Pinegrove Crisis Center in Daytona Beach.

Connie is a Registered Nurse (RN), She attended West Minister Care of Orlando to obtain her CNA certification in 1999, and went on to Daytona State College where she received her RN degree. She has 15 years of experience and has worked for SMA for the past three years.

“I love working here,” said Connie. “I come to work with a smile,” she added. Connie also said that she enjoys making things happen, and that includes being an advocate for her staff and patients.

The Pinegrove Crisis Center’s services includes a 19-bed detoxification unit for addictions and a 30-bed crisis stabilization unit for those who are acutely mentally ill.
