PRLog -- The College of Online Distance Education (CODE) has brought forward Onsite Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Childcare program aimed to Childcare workers, Childminders and Crèches to ensure that staff and childcare businesses around Ireland are keeping up to date with the demands of regulatory bodies. CODE’s executive Caroline Connor explained ‘
The launch of this new exiting training program will bring education to the crèche’s around Ireland, so that staff and owners do not have to leave their premises; this will save them time and money. Staff will have the benefit of gaining knowledge in a familiar setting; maximising their learning experience’. One of the struggles for crèches around Ireland has always been finding time and suitably Garda cleared cover staff for those wanting to attend off-site training and this program offers a solution to this issue. Accessing training can be especially difficult for those living in more rural communities. The Onsite CPD Childcare training program is running from Monday to Saturday in order to alleviate pressure of childcare workers and business. Saturday training onsite is very advantageous for crèches who have suitable premises for onsite training but no free time for training during the weekdays. The new Onsite CPD Childcare program aims to improve and maintain the skills of Childcare workers all over Ireland. Investing in our children is always a priority; childminders, childcare workers and crèches play a major role in our children’s future development and their education and knowledge should always be current and of the highest standard. The College of Online Distance Education is proud to offer this new service.
