Trash As Art has had increasing success with its #PAPER jewelry collection. #PAPER is made from recycled and upcycled newspapers. Adding to their product base, the company has expanded and started upcycling purses. These items will be featured at the event. “I am excited that Trash As Art is to the point where we can be part of this RAW event. This is an excellent platform for us to share our art in the community as we grow this year,” says Satya Wimbish, owner and artist of Trash As Art.
Every other month RAW showcases 40 artists from various genres. It is an indie arts organization that was created by artists. Each showcase features a wide range of arts, including visual artists, bands, aerial dancers, and more. In addition to having artwork and product on display and for sale; Trash As Art is also one of the featured designers for the fashion show at Communiqué. For more information on Trash As Art, visit http://trashasart.com.
