INDIANAPOLIS - July 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Glace Entertainment Public Relations Press Department Releases Quotes And Statements From Their Chief Celebrity Publicist Toni Embry Following Shooting In Broad Ripple Area Of Indianapolis July 5, 2014 At 2:20am (eastern standard time)

At approximately 2:20am (est) on July 5, 2014, outside of a shoe repair shop in the 700 block of Broad Ripple Avenue, between College and Carrollton avenues (Broad Ripple Area Of Indinapolis, IN.) 7 people were shot, 1 critcally injured and 1 released at the scene.

Glace Entertainment Public Relations' Chief Celebrity Publicist Toni Embry was visiting a long time entertainment industry friend who resides in the Broad Ripple area for the Independence July4th Holiday.  Toni was woken at 2:35am by full time security team agents and was informed that, "shots have been fired in the area and we need to move you immeadiately from the area."

Toni was removed via escorted vehicle from the Broad Ripple area by 2:40am. At this time, police and first responders were dealing with what Toni described as "bedlam".

I was wakened by a member of my security team and told that there were shots fired in the area from an unknown source and that I must be removed immedaitaely. I was of course startled by this considering I was in the Broad Ripple area of Indinapolis which is not a violent crime area by all means.  Regardless, being in this industry for the amount of time I have been, I trusted the security team leader and did as instructed without second guessing him.  With in 5 minutes, myself and my dog were in a SUV vehicle and were out of the area.  As we drove by I prayed for the scene that I saw. What was a very peaceful section of Indianapolis had irrupted and turned into what looked like the aftermath of a war.  I will NEVER understand violence such as this and I truly hope I never do. For when I do understand it, I would have became desensitized and I would have lost human compassion.  I also despise the term "senseless violence" when describing situations such as these because I never see "sense" in any violence.

My extreme gratitude is extended to the fine men and women of the Indianapolis Police Department and other first responders who bravely and without regard to their self aided the injured and controlled the situation.  My continued thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the victims as well as continued prayers that one day, in the very near future, violence such as this will end permanently."  - Toni Embry, Chief Celebrity Publicist Glace Entertainment Public Relations
