Now in its 7th year, the Australian Business Quality Awards measures businesses against a range of internationally-recognised principles of best practices in customer services. “We stayed one night at the El Jay Holiday Lodge, and we found it perfect. We had a nice, clean apartment with cooking facilities and a large fridge. We checked in late so Michelle left our room unlocked for us. We went Hot Air Ballooning the next morning, so we were gone quite early even though we hadn’t checked out when we received a concerned call from Michelle to make sure we were alright, as she’d noticed our car missing. We thought this was a very kind gesture, as we’d already paid for the room, so she wasn’t just concerned that we’d left without paying. All up, we were very happy with our stay, and I would definitely stay there again.”
