LogicTree Releases a new Interactive Voice Recognition system (IVR) to Allegheny County

PRLog - July 3, 2014 - DENVER -- On July 17th, LogicTree, LLC released a brand-new Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) system to enable Port Authority of Allegheny County's bus and rail riders to receive transit information and more.  This is the latest edition of LogicTree's software offering for public traffic and transit authorities. Port Authority's new IVR system allows riders to not only receive bus and train times on a stop or intersection basis, but also includes the ability for riders to check their ConnectCard balance.  The ConnectCard is a pre-paid transit pass to increase efficiency and reduce cash transactions, with automated balance renewals and RFID technology.

The new edition of LogicTree's IVR offering is feature rich and utilizing the latest in voice recognition software. This includes the ability for the Port Authority staff to input custom FloodGate messages, automatic FloodGate messages, manage Transfers, and utilize Call Log tools. It is also scalable to include Stop ID Numbers once Port Authority end-users are familiar with the individual Stop ID Numbers. With this release, another LogicTree client has been migrated over to include a fully hosted, virtualized cloud IVR solution.  This enables state-of-the-art hardware and much faster response time for the telephony infrastructure.

The system will serve users throughout the Greater Pittsburg Region and allow their over 2.5 million residents and countless tourists the ability to use the system. As of now, the system has had a soft launch and a planned release for twenty-four hours a day in the near future.  With only a night-time schedule, the system is already automating about 3,000 calls per week and saving considerable taxpayer money.

Brendan Roche, COO of LogicTree, oversaw the development and release of the system. He expressed his excitement going forward, "We're very happy to have pushed this system live recently and to provide easily accessible transit information to the Pittsburgh public twenty-four hours a day.  It is our newest offering, and we have new cloud based platforms in development that will set the bar for the public transit and traffic IVR space."

LogicTree is based out of Denver, CO and owned by The Stage Fund, a private equity group that has turned around the company, restored confidence in their clients, and will propel the company with an innovative future for the IVR and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) world.
