On October 4, 2011, Apple introduced the iPhone 4S with an amazing new feature. Now your phone could be your own personal assistant, with an integrated voice providing conversational interaction, such as answering questions, making calendar entries, sending texts for you, playing your music, telling jokes, and many other amazing feats. This feature called Siri has transformed the way we interact with our Apple phones, and changed the face of mobile technology as we knew it.
Of course, that isn't the end of the story. Recently, the woman behind the voice of Siri was revealed as voice-over artist Susan Bennett from Atlanta, Georgia. During the month of July 2005, Ms. Bennett sat in a studio for four hours a day recording various words, phrases, and sentences which ultimately became the helpful voice you use everyday, and which makes your life much simpler.
How about the opportunity to finally match a voice with a face . . . in person? Now is your chance to meet the ubiquitous voice of Siri who speaks to you like magic through your iPhone!
Ms. Bennett has agreed to make her first personal appearance at a fan-based Pop Culture convention in Los Angeles. She will appear on Saturday, July19th from 10am to 5pm during the THE HOLLYWOOD SHOW at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel, 5400 West Century Blvd, Los Angeles 90045. Susan “Siri” Bennett will sign autographs, answer questions and generally “meet and greet” with her fans. Come down and have your picture taken with the voice of the 21st Century!
Susan is available for phone interviews.
