Author Sebastien Blue A Hit With Young Adult Readers

HAMILTON, Ontario - July 3, 2014 - PRLog -- With his debut release Liquid Diamond, author Sebastien  Blue revamps the YA fantasy genre. Liquid Diamond follows the adventure of ten year old  Natalia. Lost in the woods on her way home one night,  she tumbles through a portal to a fantastical world filled  with cockatrices, blemmyes, and furry Basajaunak  herdsmen.

Reminiscing back to his own childhood, Sebastien Blue  remembers having an early fascination with horror  movies and creepy stories. It is his theory that the thrills  children experience when reading a scary story  encourages them to keep reading (paging R.L Stine!).

CREDENTIALS: Sebastien Blue has been a voracious reader of worldwide classical  literature and a huge fan of horror movies since he was a boy. His love of foreign  folklore and mythology inspired him to launch his first book series. Blue is a strong  believer that, in addition to providing entertainment, young adult books should  provide empowering and encouraging messages. Rising from an impoverished  background, and facing struggles with dyslexia, Sebastien Blue’s ultimate goal is to  promote literacy and creativity.
