The felon population has soared, and continues to increase annually.
Felons encounter comprehensive barriers to success, that include lack of job and
training listings; unrelated business information;
that leads to uninformed voting, or no voting at all.
Felons.com is the one-stop, centralized platform to assist felons in overcoming
many of these barriers.
The main complaint that felons have voiced is the lack of specialized information
available upon their release. We will work hard to remedy this problem.
Felons.com is a benefit, profit corporation, set up in the state of Ohio as a dba
of World Books Etc. For this venture we use the same model as AARP(American
Association of Retired Persons), and will eventually set up membership for special
discounts for our targeted population.
Our company founders are three felons from different backgrounds, with a united
passion for the same mission.
Theresa Marchese is the CEO and technology specialist, from New Jersey; Denise
McCreary is an Associate Pastor, and choir director, residing in New York; Rhonda
Turpin is a published author, and grantwriter, housed currently at Danbury Federal
Prison Camp, where the show, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, originated from.
Our app subscription fee is $9.99 biannually. It features current jobs, training,
business news, and political updates for felons and their families. It will be available
in most app stores that service smartphones July 10th.
