New website chinacarbon.net.cn launched for Chinese pilot carbon markets

LONDON - July 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Climate Connect Limited today announces the launch of its latest offering in the online news and analytics space – ChinaCarbon.net.cn (http://chinacarbon.net.cn/). The web-based tool will provide users with a comprehensive insight into the latest market and regulatory updates in the emerging Chinese carbon markets. The website uses state-of-the-art information technology plug-ins to keep tabs on daily carbon market transactions in the seven pilot carbon markets which China has launched in the past 12 months. The pilot schemes already cover over 1800 entities in Guangdong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Hubei, Shanghai and Chongqing.

China is already the world’s largest renewable energy market, and now embarks on the path to becomimg the largest carbon market in the world. ChinaCarbon.net is well positioned to serve the rising demand for comprehensive news and data analytics, for both clean energy and carbon in China. Aimed at the knowledge needs of users from China as well as the rest of the world, ChinaCarbon.net will be available in the English and Chinese languages.

The website, freely available to users, is currently in its ALPHA version. As the website is ramped up, new features, including comprehensive review and analysis of the various carbon markets in China, will be added. The BETA version will have full Chinese language capabilities as well.
