All organisations operating in high risk safety critical industries all share the common goal of total safety culture. Without adequately addressing human behaviour and underlying impacts of attitude, awareness and ability however, organisations are at risk of failing to understand the full suite of issues contributing to success and failure in the safety environment. The 4th Annual National Safety Psychology Conference 2014 will explore new and innovative safety psychology assessment and evaluation techniques and present how leading Australian and International organisations are using psychology-founded tools and strategies to understand employee safety perception, decision-making and the multitude of diverse social and psychological factors that influence safety behaviours and attitudes.
