Saint Monica University Reaches Cooperation Agreement With MM University

July 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Buea, Cameroon | Mullana, India – Wednesday, July 2, 2014: Two leading private universities – Saint Monica University (SMU): The American International University in Cameroon and Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MM University) in India – today announced that they have reached an agreement designed to strengthen both institutions and benefit their students. Both universities are accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, & Universities (ASIC), an international accreditation agency recognized by the UK government.

The agreement focuses on five areas – short and long term student exchange; short and long term faculty and staff exchange; collaborative research programs; holding of joint academic events such as seminars, workshops and conferences; and mutual assistance in the establishment of new educational programs.

MMU currently has students from over 25 nationalities are studying in MMU campus. We have the Department of International Education, which is dedicated to helping international students overcome any difficulties they face, relating to language, culture or any other problem; making them feel comfortable, so that they may be able to focus on their studies and make the best use of time spent at the campus; and organizing cross cultural fests and exchange programs to contribute towards the overall development of the international students.”
