New York Parole would not let the client live in the same hous as his new baby which was due in a couple of months. This was based on an old conviction for endangering the welfare of a child 12 years prior.
"This was really a tough case, we all want the father of the child to be present and here was a situation where parole was denying our client fatherhood. We were not going to stand for that." Mr. Discioarro said. After engaging with the Parole officer and eventually with the Commissioner of Parole on New York, the client was allowed to live with his new baby. "This is the type of case that makes us very proud that we were able to help someone." Mr. Discioarro said. The client now lives with his wife and new baby and is working full time.
