AST Managed Services for Oracle E-Business Suite Underway at Loudoun County, Virginia

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - July 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Following the successful launch of Oracle E‐Business Suite Financials and  Procurement systems at Loudoun County and Loudoun County Public Schools, Virginia, AST Corporation transitioned from implementation to managed services for the County, and is providing support in unison with the County’s support personnel.

With the County providing help desk (level 1) services, AST will back the County with level 2 and 3 support for production applications, break‐fix support, resolving technical issues and working with Oracle in resolving any product issues.  AST is supporting the following E‐Business Suite modules for the County: General Ledger, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Treasury, Purchasing, Projects & Grants, and Hyperion.

The Financials and Procurement implementation was the first phase of the County’s ERP project, and constituted a significant milestone in Loudoun County’s efforts to continuously improve services for its residents, students and businesses. AST’s managed services allows the County to confidently move on to phase 2 of the project, replacement of its HR and payroll systems.
