Free Marketing Workshop Offered
Telling Your Business Story will show entrepreneurs, owners, and executives how to craft a compelling business story.

Phoenixville, PA, July 1, 2014 — Sales Engineering System, Inc., a Phoenixville-based sales-and-marketing training-and-development consulting firm, today announced that it is offering a free workshop to local businesses entitled Telling Your Business Story. The no-cost, two-hour workshop will explain how a business story fits into a company’s marketing plan along with its essential elements, and then walk attendees through the process of creating and delivering their company’s compelling story. The workshop will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Valley Forge/Oaks, on Wednesday, July 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

“We see so many businesses that are almost frantically pumping out marketing messages to their social media networks, websites, blogs, and even paid advertising that totally fail to tell a coherent and compelling business story,” said Melissa Mazzeo, president of Sales Engineering System, Inc. “That translates into a lot of wasted time, energy, and money. We feel that a well-crafted business story, while not the only piece of the marketing puzzle, is an important piece nevertheless and is a good place to start for any business trying to market and sell more effectively.”

Attendees will also learn spoken and written techniques to make their story resonate with audiences, as well as where, when, and how to tell it. The interactive program will last for about two hours; however, additional feedback on stories developed during the session will be available via email at no charge.

The workshop will be presented by Kerry Lohrman, founder and creator of the Sales Engineering System. A lifelong entrepreneur, business owner, consultant, and writer, Mr. Lohrman created the Sales Engineering System for the singular purpose of helping businesses to be more profitable. Today, his passion is helping companies to grow, with a particular emphasis on enabling entrepreneurs to successfully start a business in order to realize their dreams.
