LOVELAND, Ohio - July 2, 2014 - PRLog -- “Find the Good Life in North Dakota”is a new workforce recruitment campaign designed to meet the needs of the state’s robust economy; North Dakota has the lowest unemployment rate in the country – 2.4 percent. The campaign uses targeted marketing and event strategies to attract potential new residents to North Dakota. www.FindTheGoodLifeInNorthDakota.com

“Over the past decade, we have been working hard to grow our economy and create jobs, and those efforts have paid off in big ways as North Dakota leads the nation in economic and job growth,” said Wally Goulet, chairman of the North Dakota Economic Development Foundation. “To sustain that growth, we need to ensure that the jobs we are creating are filled with highly-skilled workers.”

Companies seeking veterans for their workforces will be sure to find them at RecruitMilitary’s All Veteran Career Fairs, which are produced from coast to coast. RecruitMilitary has increased the number of All Veteran Career Fairs from 67 in 2013 to 75 in 2014; and it will produce more than 100 events in 2015.

Roughly 200,000 men and women transition from active duty to civilian life each year. RecruitMilitary Career Fairs connect employers with such job seekers – as well as veterans who already have civilian work experience, members of the National Guard and reserves, and military spouses and other family members.

Peter Gudmundsson, CEO and president of RecruitMilitary and a former officer in the United States Marine Corps, said, “We appreciate companies and organizations involved in the frontline work of making sure that America’s leading companies take advantage of the opportunity to hire high-quality veteran talent.”

Gudmundsson noted that RecruitMilitary has focused on expanding its presence in and around North Dakota and its neighboring states. “We are interested in this region because of the business growth in the area, and the great support that North Dakotans have for veterans and active military,” he said.

“Find the Good Life in North Dakota” is a public-private partnership led by the North Dakota Economic Development Foundation. “We’re a state with great schools, friendly people, supportive and safe communities, arts and entertainment, tremendous outdoor recreation, and, of course, great job opportunities,” said Goulet. “In the end, our goal is to ensure our state has the workforce it needs to take full advantage of the opportunities we have all worked so hard to create and foster.”
