MONROE, Wash. - June 30, 2014 - PRLog -- MONROE, Wash. (June 30, 2014) —Brokk, Inc. the leading manufacturer of remote-controlled demolition machines, has added John Haugabook as its new southeast regional sales manager. Prior to joining Brokk, Haugabook co-owned both a mineral rights business and a construction company that specialized in remodeling gas stations. He lives in Macon, Georgia.

“We are thrilled John has joined our team,” said Peter Bigwood, vice president of sales and marketing for Brokk in North America. “His experience in construction and other industries is invaluable and will help him build solid relationships with our customers.”

Haugabook will provide ongoing support to current Brokk customers in the southeast and will focus on targeting new customers in key market segments. “I’m truly fascinated by Brokk machines and their capabilities,” said Haugabook. “They are unique pieces of equipment that can add a lot of value to a company. I look forward to educating contractors on how the Brokk machines can expand their businesses.”

Most Brokk machines are electric-powered and all feature a three-arm system that can be equipped with a variety of attachments including breakers, buckets, grapples and crushers. With the three-arm system, the machine can work at odd angles and operate in limited access, confined spaces without the risk of injuries typically associated with handheld equipment.

Brokk machines have impressive power-to-weight ratios and routinely outperform conventional methods. As a result, contractors can bid on projects that would have once been too dangerous or time consuming with handheld equipment.

Brokk has been the world’s leading manufacturer of remote-controlled demolition machines and attachments for more than 35 years. Through continuous innovation in engineering and design, Brokk is able to offer unique solutions to multiple industries worldwide, including construction, demolition, mining and tunneling, cement and metal processing, nuclear and other specialty applications.
