Barcode Automation, inc. increases presence in the Northern Virginia and DC region

June 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Barcode Automation, inc. (BAi), the leading manufacturer of barcode readers and decals for automatic vehicle identification, has announced increased presence in the Northern Virginia and DC region.

“Recently, we are receiving more requests from property managers looking for installers in the Virginia Beach, Northern Virginia, and D.C. areas. When we learned of Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG) opening a new location in this area, it provided a great opportunity for us to address this demand.” said Jim Pope, President of BAi.

BAi attended the grand opening for the new CPSG location in Beltsville, MD on June 12^th. A presentation on the benefits of their automatic vehicle identification system was made to the dealers in attendance and CPSG employees. BAi provided CPSG a demonstration reader, the BA-440 DualBeam Barcode Reader, in addition to sample decals and informational brochures. The demonstration reader is available at the CPSG DC office for dealers to learn more, and to use for presentations to clients.

“Being able to view and touch a product is important. This gives our dealers in the DC area a more efficient means to do that. A lot of the questions and challenges that dealers face when presenting our reader to their client can be answered much better with the product on hand. For example, one of the biggest concerns from customers is that photocopies of our barcode labels can gain entry to a property. The best way we've found to disprove that myth is by showing that fakes and photocopies are ignored. Using the demonstration reader for presentations allows dealers to show this. Our BA-440 DualBeam Reader will be available at CPSG's DC office through Summer,” Pope stated.

“A lot of dealers aren't aware that even if they purchase through one of our distributors, they may be listed on our website. When end-users call us looking for a dealer, if we don't have one listed in their area, then we call up our closest distributor for a referral,” explains Pope.
