J.T.M. Food Group Premieres 12 New Products at the SNA’s 2014 Annual National Conference (ANC)

PRLog - Jun. 30, 2014 - HARRISON, Ohio -- JTM Food Group, a national leader in creating menu solutions for the food service industry, will feature twelve new products at SNA’s Annual National Conference in Boston this July.

As the provider of menu items to more than 12.8 million K-12 students across the country, J.T.M. continues to produce health-conscious, on-trend products to meet a variety of nutritional needs in the schools they serve. New offerings available to school directors at the ANC include clean label, Steel Cut Oatmeal with Brown Sugar that contains only three ingredients, a Mediterranean-Style Hummus, as well as allergen free proteins and whole grain rich (WGR) pasta entrees

“The School Nutrition Association represents more than 55,000 professionals from across the nation responsible for the meals served to students nationally,” said Brian Hofmeier, Vice President of Education Sales at JTM Food Group. “Exhibiting at the ANC gives J.T.M. the platform to present our vegetarian, whole grain rich, allergen free, and clean label products to a number of these decision makers, while demonstrating menu solutions that will help them meet the needs of the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs.”

The conference will be attended by more than 3,000 food service professionals who will have access to Booth 524 where the J.T.M. culinary team, led by Executive Chef Robert Lafond, will present a number of recipes and applications utilizing new products like the allergen-free, Mushroom Enhanced Beef Patty, Egg, Potato and Cheese Breakfast Burrito Filling, and Mediterranean-Style Hummus.

“We’re also excited to introduce the My Way Café concept,” added Hofmeier.  “This simple concept is based around three of the top trends in the food service industry: customization, demand for more ethnic flavors, and an increase in demand for options that utilize fresh (locally sourced) ingredients. We’ll show attendees how to use a set of core J.T.M. proteins and sauces, fresh ingredients, and common whole grain rich bases like wraps, brown rice, and pastas to turn the standard serving line into a destination that gives students multiple custom meal options.

JTM plans to have over 30 products on display at this year’s ANC, including the following list of NEW products:

·       Bean and Cheese Burrito Filling

·       Mediterranean-Style Hummus
