By: Roseville Heritage Foundation With hundreds of classic, antique and “souped-up” This year’s cruise will officially begin with opening statements from the 2014 Grand Marshalls, Macomb County Executive, Mark Hackel and Roseville Mayor, John Chirkun. The Official kick-off cruise parade will then enter onto Gratiot Ave, from Common Rd. into an “all lanes open” style cruise, which means there will not be a designated cruise lane; instead all lanes will be a designated “Cruising Zone” between 10 Mile Rd.and 13 Mile Rd, Additionally, there will be many participating sponsors and businesses along Gratiot Ave offering special promotions, activities and contests throughout all of Roseville. Because of the high level of expected participation from our community, no parking is allowed on Gratiot Ave within the “Cruising Zone” during this event to ensure the safety and viewing pleasure of our guests. The “Right of Way” area (Curb-to-sidewalk) Headquarters’ Additional fun-fueled activities will include the Roseville Gratiot Cruise “Scavenger Hunt”, Roseville HS Auto Shop Reunion Show, Mike Riehl’s Veterans Returning Home Car Show; Kroger’s One Touch Benefit, Kmarts’ St. Jude Fundraiser and a Costco Customer Appreciation Event The Roseville Gratiot Cruise Event is produced by The Roseville Heritage Foundation, which is a 501 (c) nonprofit organization. All proceeds go to help and support the foundation and its goals to promote the Roseville community and sponsored events. Come relive the fun and memories of cruising Gratiot and leave with new ones!
