June 27, 2014 - PRLog -- A very special Kids’ Summer Yoga Camp will be taking place soon at the Wellness Institute (http://www.newriverwellnessinstitute.com/wp-content/themes/wellness/images/Wellness_Yoga.pdf) in Bluffton, S.C., and it looks as though it is going to be loads of fun for local Lowcountry children. The camp will run for two weeks, July 14-18, and  July 21-25, from noon to 3 p.m., and enrollment is open to children from ages 3 to 11.

Nadezhda Semenova, a certified yoga instructor, will lead the Wellness Institute team in guiding the children through a fun yoga experience. “We're excited to introduce Kids’ Yoga to the Bluffton community,” said Semenova, “We look forward to meeting all of the children at our first yoga camp.”

Craig Weyer, Manager of the Wellness Institute said, “Yoga is a great physical activity for children. This camp will give us the opportunity to showcase the benefits of yoga while having fun.”

Yoga has been proven to be a rewarding practice for adults, but children can also benefit in a number of important ways. Students enrolled in the Kids’ Summer Yoga Camp can look forward to having lots of fun while learning building skills such as:

·       Confidence and creativity through yoga games

·       Concentration skills

·       Meditation, peace, and relaxation through yoga breathing

·       Body strength, flexibility, and coordination

·       World awareness through stories, mandalas, and games

·       Self-experience through dance, music, and more!

The Kids’ Summer Yoga Camp is a terrific opportunity to introduce children from in and around Bluffton to the many helpful and healthy benefits that yoga can provide.

Early bird registration costs $100 and ends July 5; registration thereafter will cost $125. Adding another child to the registration will cost an additional $90, while drop-in cost is $30. All those participating are asked to bring water and snacks.
