Harvest ranked No. 100 on Landscape Management’s 2014 LM150 list of the Green Industry’s largest companies based on annual revenue and business growth.
Harvest is an Orange County-based, award-winning landscape maintenance company considered a leader in sustainable landscapes and water conservation. It has been featured in local and trade media and received government accolades for its innovative projects, including landscape renovations done at Niguel Shores, Ocean Ranch at Bear Brand and the Oso Valley Greenbelt Association.
The rapidly growing family-owned business saved Southern California Edison about 70 percent of its water use at the Villa Park Substation in the City of Orange, and it is a key partner in Coastkeeper Gardens, a project of Orange County Coastkeeper at Santiago Canyon College.
“We are excited and honored to be mentioned among the nation’s best landscape companies,” said President Steven Schinhofen. “Harvest works hard to provide the best in customer service and resource conservation. Clearly, that formula has paid off.”
Nationwide, landscape companies named on the list saw a collective drop in business of 0.2 percent in 2013, while Harvest’s revenue in that year grew by 10 percent. The company anticipates 12 percent growth in 2014.
“Congratulations to Harvest and all the companies on this year’s LM150 list,” said Marisa Palmieri, editor of Landscape Management. “Many of the firms on this list are the best of the best. It’s an honor to be among them.”
