National Staffing Solutions uses A&P Assessment to Prepare Coders for the ICD-10 Deadline

BEDFORD, Mass. - June 26, 2014 - PRLog -- National Staffing Solutions, a healthcare staffing agency and leader in the travel healthcare industry, is using Libman Education’s Anatomy & Physiology Skills Assessment to prepare medical coders for the October 1, 2015 ICD-10 deadline.

The assessment consists of 120 questions covering 12 critical body systems corresponding to Libman Education’s popular Anatomy and Physiology for Coders online course, which is used by a large number of hospitals and clinics.

The assessment allows medical coding directors to quickly and efficiently determine the strengths and weaknesses of their coders and new hires – and to avoid the time-consuming process of creating and performing their own assessments.

In addition to gauging ICD-10 readiness prior to training, the assessment is helpful in determining how much knowledge coders retain after training.
