Dr. Charles Botbol, head dental surgeon, says the staff at Studio B Dental decided to update its FAQ pages as a result of shifting trends in online behavior.
"In this day and age, many people prefer to do research on their own before inquiring about a service or product," Dr. Botbol says. "The FAQ pages give visitors answers to most of their questions without having to call the office and ask directly."
By giving patients easier access to information about the various dental procedures performed at Studio B Dental, Dr. Botbol says the FAQ pages offer a convenience for both patients and for clinic staff.
"This benefits the visitors of the site because they can get the answers to some, if not all, of their questions without having to be bothered by picking up the phone," he says. "It also helps the staff as they find they are not having to answer the same general questions over and over again each day -- not that they mind talking with patients."
The FAQ pages contain information on basic dental procedures as well as advanced, in-depth responses. While most dental clinics tend to offer FAQ responses that are specific to their clinic, Dr. Botbol says Studio B Dental's FAQ pages give patients a comprehensive view of the procedures that are offered.
"Website visitors that take advantage of the FAQ pages are usually much better informed about the procedures and treatments they are interested in and can better let the staff know what their overall goals are when they come into the office," he says. "Offering our patients a higher level of service means giving them access to better information. The more informed a patient is, the easier the whole process for their procedure or treatment is."
