How to factory reset Huawei s5700 via BOOTMODE

CHEUNG SHA WAN, Hong Kong - June 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Recently,  I had some question about the S5700 switch S5700S-28P-LI-AC and S5700-28P-LI-AC, as I forget the username & password, I have entered the BOOT menu but I dont see "Reset Console Password" menu, here is the menu :

     BOOTROM  MENU

    1. Boot with default mode
    2. Enter serial submenu
    3. Enter startup submenu
    4. Enter ethernet submenu
    5. Enter filesystem submenu
    6. Modify BOOTROM password
    7. Reboot

I have done CHANGING the startup submenu too, but the RESULT its still the same...

For solved this problem, I made all kinds of ways, finally have done it, the answer and suggestion share with you:

If you didn't find the function from the bootrom menue, then the version does not support for reseting the password.

you need to upload another configuration file and boot with it, then download your original configuration file and modify the configuration manually, delete the password configuration.Then upload to the device agian and boot up.

And try booting with default mode (option 1) -- by selecting this option your device will boot the default configuration file, thus no console password will be set.
