Visiting School Group from Missouri supports 5K Run Walk 4 Youth in Atlanta

ATLANTA - June 25, 2014 - PRLog -- A Group of participants attending the ISTE Conference in Atlanta who are visiting from the St. Clair R-XIII School District located in St. Clair, Missouri is supporting THE DUKES FOUNDATION’S 5 K RUN WALK 4 YOUTH INITIATIVE to increase graduation rate among African American and Hispanic students in Metro Atlanta Communities.

“We, a group of administrators, library media specialists, and classroom teachers all share a passion for education, students and the betterment of their environments.  We couldn't be more excited to find such a great cause to support” remarked Markie Lampkin, a representative of the St. Clair Missouri R-XIII School District.

Horace Dukes, Chief Executive Officer of The Dukes Foundation has expressed appreciation for the visiting Group’s support of the Run 4 Scholars event to the visiting Group’s Coordinator, Ginger Murphy.

THE 5K RUN WALK takes place at Stone Mountain Park this Saturday , June 28, 2014 beginning at 8:00 am. Registration begins at 7:00 am.
