APMAX ACS Service Adds New Aastra Model that supports Gig E Output

June 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Innovative Systems has completed testing and has added the Aastra 6867i SIP enterprise desk phones to the APMAX Automated Configuration Service. Client request for Gigabit Ethernet ports was the primary driver in adding support for this device to the APMAX ACS tool. The advantage of offering business customers SIP phones with GigE output is to eliminate additional wiring and simplify installations without compromising the bandwidth required by power users.

According to Larry Fuller, Sr.VP of Marketing and Customer Relations at Oklahoma based telecom Dobson Technologies, “The addition of the Aastra 6867i handset is a significant step forward in our product offering. The 6867i allows our customers to continue to utilize their high capacity internal networks and take advantage of the latest technology advancements at an economical price point.” The APMAX ACS SIP phone tool handles provisioning, firmware updates and also offers a Web Portal option for subscriber management of SIP key settings.

The Aastra 6867i joins over 50 different SIP devices and 10 different vendor brands that the ACS service can manage and maintain firmware updates for. The primary advantage of ACS is to allow service providers the ability to manage multiple brands of SIP phones from one GUI that they are already using with their APMAX hardware platform.
