Heywood Hospital Aid Association Holds Annual Meeting

GARDNER, Mass. - June 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Gardner, MA – The Heywood Hospital Aid Association held its Annual Meeting on June 19th. Members gathered to thank Mary Capman, the Association’s President, for her two years of leadership. Mrs. Capman reviewed the activities that were successful during her tenure as President. At this meeting, Dawn Columbo was named President, and Linda LaHaye was named First Vice President.

Also discussed were the various fundraisers the Association held over the past year including restructuring of the gift shop, the annual Wine and Chocolate Social, Vendor sales, and the Evergreen Fair. Hospital Aid has contributed over $200,000 to Heywood Hospital for needed equipment and upgrades.

Membership currently sits at approximately 150, and the group has hope that number will rise. If you are interested in joining the Heywood Hospital Aid Association, membership forms are available in the gift shop, located adjacent to the Family Pharmacy in the Hospital Atrium.

The Aid Association welcomes men and woman from the community and surrounding towns to join in efforts that will help Heywood Hospital continue to provide excellent patient care.

The next Hospital Aid Association meeting is scheduled for September 11, 2014.
