Acura Wins Edmunds.com's Best Retained Value Brand AwardKentucky Acura Dealers are proud to announce that Acura has yet again taken home the top honor of the Edmunds.com 2014 Best Retained Value Award. For the third consecutive year, Acura has earned the “Best Retained Value Brand Award,” marking it as a brand that not only offers style and substance but represents a great investment as well. While such a brand recognition is one of the highest honors, it is not the only trophy Acura took home from the awards. The 2014 Acura ILX sport sedan earned the Best Retained Value award in its class as well, reminding drivers what many seem to already know: the ILX is one of the best choices on the market for a new sedan. Acura is known for more than just their sedans, however, especially for the last 18 months or so. The 2014 MDX and RDX luxury crossovers have been smashing sales records and showing up all over the place. The 2014 MDX alone had a sales growth of 115.6 percent for the past year, resulting in May sales of 5,900 units. And the smaller RDX crossover keeps going strong, with 4,299 of them sold in May. “This recognition from Edmunds.com speaks to the strength of the Acura brand in offering customers outstanding luxury, performance, quality, and value on a luxury scale,” said Mike Accavitti, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Acura Division. It shows that Acura is delivering class-leading products that are exciting to drive and smart to own.” To further drive away any competition, Acura has the 2015 TLX set to release this fall. Considering that it is looking more than able to replace the outgoing TL and TSX, most industry analysts would not be surprised to see Acura take home another of these awards for 2014.
