-- New York, NY - - (Sunday, June 12, 2014) - - Who is Sabre Mochachino? Why has he suddenly become the hottest name within the music industry? Sabre Mochachino makes his musical debut with the release of his new single 'I Don't Wanna Wait,' available on iTunes. Much can be said about Mochachino, one of the hottest on-the-bubble fashion design houses with a stellar roster of clientele. The designer Sabre, known for his keen eye for detail and his ability to make clothes that befit the lifestyle of the jet set, has always dabbled in music, often producing original music for his stunning runway shows. At the behest of several Mochachino loyalists, Sabre has taken his distinctively soulful and jazzy vocals and put them to music. Eliciting comparisons ranging from Calvin Harris and David Guetta to Mark Ronson and Daft Punk with his funky production, Sabre breaks new ground as he effortlessly saunters to the main stage from behind the seams. And interestingly enough, one can often hear aspects of each of those mega producers in Sabre's style of music. His vocal repertoire cops influences from a wide range of artists - Nina Simone, Sam Cooke, Andrea Boccelli, Leontyne Price, Pharrell Williams, Amy Winehouse and even Hip Hop's legendary MC, Rakim.
Following this debut, Sabre plans on releasing an album simply titled 'Ultrapolitan,' a reflection of his philosophy on living life to the fullest in a sophisticated, chic and fun way. The accolades for his work as a designer are sure to be eclipsed by this new project. "It was never my intention to step into the limelight, this project was something organic," he states, continuing, "A cathartic journey of sorts, just feeling the music and letting it guide me to where I need to be, I'm an artist on every level now."
The concurrent theme throughout is fun, in a sophisticated way. Chic as in a smokey night club in St. Tropez. Music is universal, international and it appeals to everyone. Sabre tackles this project with the same aplomb applied to all of his ventures. Another great chapter added to a book still being written. The music plays on, now to the tune of Sabre, a welcome addition to the plethora of musical maestros that keep us dancing.
