The younger Frank Deese experienced this jail scene before becoming Mayor of the very town he committed his crimes in. Support is rallying around the town of Marshville, NC including store owner Jimmy Stegal; who's allowing cameras on his property to capture the robbery scene with actor Jermel Howard from “Orange Is The New Black” on Netflix. Jermel will be playing the role of young Franklin Deese as the mayor wears the hat of consultant, assuring the movies authenticity. The movie idea began with Producer Chris Donaldson meeting with the mayor and immediately sharing the storyline with actor/director Tommy Ford from the hit TV show “Martin”, who instantly began writing a script. Mayor Franklin Deese takes prison recidivism rates seriously when speaking to law enforcement agencies and legislators who has an interest in reducing an offenders chances of returning to prison. Mayor Franklin Deese says, “After care, mentoring programs, education and entrepreneurship might be a solution to the problem.”
