DURHAM, N.C. - June 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Today, Rheti takes another step toward proving that anyone can build a great mobile application by announcing the public beta launch of its platform. Rheti’s first product, an Android application, transforms today’s complex app development process into an enjoyable, simple to use, and highly customizable experience benefitting programmers, non-programmers, and even corporations. If you’ve ever had an app idea (for your life or job), or wished a particular app you currently use worked differently, Rheti will enable you to build that app using only your smart phone.

In the past two years, there’s been a surge of app builders claiming to build “native apps” while “requiring no coding”. These web-based tools generally allow users to build cross-platform apps with the capability of integrating a limited number of pre-built features. Typically, the end result is an app that runs like an HTML5 app (even though it’s labeled native), with a monthly subscription fee, and a similar look and feel to all of the other apps created with that platform. Rheti is fundamentally different in both its technology and pricing structure. Consequently, it is more easily compared to Wordpress and IFTTT rather than these other web app builders.

Rheti is free to use. It allows you to build true native Android apps without programming experience. What stands out is Rheti’s ability to enable customization throughout the entire building experience, ensuring that apps can be as unique as the user desires. To do this, the app features a growing marketplace of 75+ native and third party features (including Google Login, Facebook Login, Geofences, WeMo, Timers, even an Augmented reality street view) that users can integrate into their apps; much like a Wordpress plugin marketplace. All of these are production ready and can be combined or edited within the app to form newer or better features. Additionally, Rheti makes it simple to connect with data from different feeds including Facebook’s Parse, JSON, and Google Docs. Today, users can integrate these Rheti-made feed and marketplace features but the company does plan on opening its marketplace to developers who want to contribute and benefit from Rheti’s ecosystem.

Rheti is already enabling its users to build complex native apps like “your own Snap Chat” or “your own Yelp app”, and simple apps like “your own Facebook page app” or “your own business app". Once a user is finished building, a simple tap on “Get App” inside the Rheti menu will trigger Rheti to generate a signed application and send it directly to your email address within minutes. You can then decide whether to publish it in Google Play or distribute it internally.

“We built Rheti with the belief that anyone can build a great application, not just cookie-cutter copies of something else,” says Juan Porras a cofounder and CEO of the company. “By staying true to our core passion, we built a robust tool that is already benefiting a broad range of individuals – from corporations to individuals with very unique needs. Our users have already created apps that we didn’t even imagine they could ever need. It was surprising, but by challenging ourselves to remove all of the complexities in mobile application development process (for developers and non-developers alike), we ended up unleashing a new creative force into our ecosystem. I can’t wait to see what else they come up with.”

Rheti is free to download but charges 50 “Rheti points” for users to generate a published app. This is equivalent to a one-time fee of $2.99. Users who sign up for the Public Beta will receive 100 Rheti points, which will enable them to generate two apps for free. Rheti is slated for release later this year.
