Asia's leading lighting solutions company signs up for Experion's Enterprise Mobility Solution

One of Asia's leading lighting solutions company deploys FieldMax to automate its sales and distribution channel spread across 200,000+ retail outlets and 600+ distributors

 
PRLog - June 24, 2014 - TRIVANDRUM, India -- One of Asia's leading lighting solutions company has signed the contract to deploy Experion's Enterprise Mobility Solution - FieldMax - for automating its sales and distribution processes. Subsidiary of a US based diversified business group, the client has a major presence in consumer and professional lighting segments across emerging markets in Asia. The client caters to its end customers through 200,000 retail outlets through a network of over 600 distributors.

The client's sales personnel visits retail outlets and distributors based on sales territories and preset beat cycles. Sales orders collected from the field were communicated to the operations team manually. This resulted in lack of accurate and up-to-date data being available for different functional divisions of the client for tracking market demand. The primary objective of deploying FieldMax is to streamline field business process and enhance visibility of sales all stakeholders within the client organization.

FieldMax Mobile, the Android based mobile application, enables the field sales staff to quickly put together an order, save it, review it at a later time for discussion or modification and instantly confirm the order with signatures and printing. This enhances the overall productivity of the sales staff and gives the confidence to professionally execute their daily sales activities. By using FieldMax, sales staff can gain more knowledge from the field and feed the business intelligence pipeline with time critical information such as customer stock levels, competitor pricing, changes in customer profiles or product requirements to help the forecasting and analysis processes. Sales staff can also take returns, collect payments and conduct field surveys to gain ground level information for management decision making and business support.

The data collected from field sales staff across various retail outlets and sales territories can be accessed by other stakeholders within the client organization using web based FieldMax Office application. Rich dashboards and interactive reports available in the application can be used to quickly analyse sales performance across product lines/ sales regions and make informed management decisions. This facilitates greater understanding of the sales performance at various touch points, deliver superior customer value and forge stronger customer relationships by increasing speed of response.
