June 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Spreadshirt has added Marvel Entertainment, LLC and its beloved character Captain America to its licensing business. Printing merchandise on demand and under license is a key element of Spreadshirt’s Marketplace offering (http://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/brand+t-shirts). The e-commerce platform enables brands to sell ideas across a wide range of merchandise, whilst staying within copyright laws and brand guidelines.

Philip Rooke, CEO at Spreadshirt explains, “We’re really proud that Spreadshirt can offer brands like Marvel the most efficient way to publish its ideas on merchandising. By leveraging print-on-demand technology, passionate Marvel fans can buy Captain America and other merchandise, anywhere in the world. We’re delighted to be working with Marvel and its avid fans everywhere.”

He continues, “Our global footprint, deal flexibility, wide range of products, print-on-demand technology and different sales routes means we can accelerate brands through the process of getting merchandise online and available to their fans worldwide. This isn’t just a one-off opportunity either; Marvel can use Spreadshirt’s platform to continue to create new ideas for fans to buy and wear.”

The range, which launches with Captain America designs, is available for sale via the platform’s marketplace (http://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/user/6852889) and soon through the Spreadshirt Amazon shop, where devoted fans can get their official merchandise. The license agreement with Marvel Entertainment, LLC will also include further popular characters from upcoming movies, such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel’s The Avengers 2.
