With humble beginnings, and a childhood riddled with adversity, D Lux learned at a very early age how much passion he had for singing. Daryl Lux is a true testament to overcoming adversity, and not allowing your environment determine your future. Born Daryl Hatcher, now known as Daryl Lux, or stage name D Lux, was an orphan at birth and homeless by the tender age of 11. Bouncing around the foster care system, and growing up with little to no parental guidance, you'll be amazed at what a well spoken and gentle human being D Lux is.
Singing offered the youngster a way to cope, and what he saw as a way out. From mimicking the R & B icons of that era, to singing at school programs, the positive response to Daryl's talent confirmed that his passion was in fact a gift. The hit single "Bomb Bomb" featuring Ace Hood is burning up airwaves around the country, and abroad. Celebrities are tweeting about the song, posting it on their Instagrams as red carpet background music, and showing a wealth of online support. Cash Money Senior VP of Promotion, Mel Smith is among the many music moguls stepping up with an out-pour of executive support.
DJ Khaled, along with Traxx Sanders, DJ Pain, and D Lux, affectionately known as "The Bad Guyz" will drop a powerful debut project titled "No Filters: Chapter 1" on June 30, 2014. Also catch D Lux at The 2014 BET Awards, and performing LIVE on July 12th in Kansas City, Missouri.
