Ascensus Appoints Two New Vice Presidents

DRESHER, Pa. - June 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Ascensus, the nation’s largest independent retirement plan and college savings services provider, announced that Anthony Bologna has been promoted to Vice President, National Sales Director. In this position, Mr. Bologna will be responsible for a team of 14 regional specialists who work exclusively with financial professionals in the distribution of retirement plan solutions.

Mr. Bologna earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Philadelphia University, and holds the designation of Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant (ARPC) from The Society of Professional Administrators and Recordkeepers (SPARK).

Ascensus also announced that Ted Samsel has been appointed Vice President, Key Accounts and Strategic Partners. In this role, Mr. Samsel will be responsible for developing and expanding broker-dealer relationships in their home offices and leveraging Ascensus’ Strategic Partners team to build deeper relationships with financial professionals.

Mr. Samsel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University, and is a frequent speaker on retirement industry topics such as advanced contribution allocations, trends in the 401(k) marketplace, and Form 5500 education for plan sponsors and advisors.
