Johns hails from Danville, Virginia, and now resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in information technology, which he plans to complete in the fall of 2015. Johns served in the Air Force from 1996 to 2000, where he worked as an Air Crew Life Support Technician at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas.
