ElitePrep U Announces New Social Media / Community Outreach Director

HAYWARD, Calif. - June 23, 2014 - PRLog -- ElitePrep U, a nonprofit mentoring Veterans in career coaching and entrepreneurship, has announced the addition of Deborah Cottrell as its new Social Media/Community Outreach Director.  “I am very pleased and excited to announce this appointment,” reported Tony Beaman, President and founder of ElitePrep U.  “Deb will bring an incredible wealth of passion, leadership and creativity to our mission to serve and mentor Veterans.  She herself is a Veteran that has developed a lot of respect for how she continually volunteers her personal time to several missions dedicated to serving Veterans.  I am personally grateful, and I am looking forward to working with Deborah, and having her on the team will help ElitePrep U grow to further make a difference in the community for our Veterans and their families.”

Cottrell held a secret security clearance while in the US Army, and she was an honor graduate of the US Army Support Command School.  She is a member of the American Legion as well as volunteering for Mission Continues, Veterans Resource Centers of America, YMCA and Operation Wounded Minds.

“This is a great opportunity to positively impact our Vets,” remarks Cottrell.  “I am dedicated to this sector because it provides me the opportunity to support Veterans in multiple capacities including female Veterans which I feel are very under served. I’m also excited to reach-out and connect with corporate and government partners and be part of the eco-system to connect Veterans to greater opportunities!”

ElitePrep U is a pending non-profit 501c3 organization with a mission to increase Veteran workforce integration and Veteran entrepreneurship through training, mentor-ships and strategic workshops for Veterans and their families in order to develop stronger entrepreneurial and managerial mindsets achieved by working directly with and learning directly from successful recruiters, human resource managers, entrepreneurs, business leaders and corporate executives with one-on-one coaching and special project relationships within the corporate and business community.
