CKSF is Announcing the Return of The Catcher in the Rye Scholarship

DAVIE, Fla. - June 20, 2014 - PRLog -- “I can't explain what I mean. And even if I could, I'm not sure I'd feel like it,” says Holden Caulfield. Well, although Holden, can’t, The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation sure can explain about the summer scholarship opportunities still available for students. In the month of July, CKSF will be administering The Catcher in the Rye Challenge.

CKSF is known for delivering free, online quiz competitions that give students in both high school and college an equal opportunity to win. Essays, applications, and a perfect GPA are not required, as Holden would say, “they’re all phony” for our scholarships. CKSF's The Catcher in the Rye Challenge provides people, of all ages, a chance to win a scholarship by taking several online quizzes based off of J. D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye.

This online quiz competition is available to high school and college students, as well as out of school individuals. In other words, parents can participate and win for their children. An electronic Amazon gift card will be awarded to the top three scorers starting with $50. This would be great to use on textbooks and school supplies for the next school year!

How does it work?

Participants must first register with CKSF to take the scholarship quizzes. There are four quizzes that make up the challenge round. The scores from those quizzes are then added up for a total. The top 25% scorers will be elected to join the Championship round where a winner will be determined.

Start brushing up on Catcher in the Rye and register today to start participating in just one of the many scholarships that CKSF offers!
