Guided Meditation Author Max Highstein Releases New Title

SANTA FE, N.M. - June 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Guided meditation author Max Highstein has authored over 65 guided imagery programs since his landmark first recording, The Healing Waterfall in 1985. This week he offers a new release, entitled The Arrow, Connecting To Higher Support.

Guided meditations, or guided imagery recordings as they are also called, are spoken word productions, generally assembled with soft music backgrounds, designed to take the listener on an inner journey for the purpose of deep relaxation, healing, or personal growth. Some programs are offer very generalized trance induction, simply to help the listener relax. Others can be specifically oriented toward helping solve a problem, or develop a skill.

Highstein’s newest program, The Arrow, was written to help the listener access their own inner knowing, and connect within spiritually. “The Arrow is a technique I developed years ago, when I was seeking inner guidance on some problems I was trying to work out in my own life, and it worked,” says the author. “This guided meditation recording makes that same technique available to anyone. It utilizes all three of our main senses for gathering information – visual, kinesthetic, and auditory.”

As is typically his method, Max Highstein began developing the program by writing a guided imagery script, then re-writing and refining until he felt it was ready. Then he recorded the narration in his recording studio, voicing the script himself. Once the narration track was edited to his satisfaction, he added a music bed. In many cases he scores original music to a narrated guided meditation. In this case he used a previously recording music bed for the program. Then the piece was mixed, and finally placed on his website, The Healing Waterfall, and made available for download by the public.
