“The Game Wizard has been in production for over a year at Starlit Citadel.  When we launch our board game infographic, a lot of our customers requested a more interactive method of choosing the right board game for themselves.  Board gaming is once again becoming a mainstream past-time but with so many games out there, it’s at times extremely difficult to know which game would be the most suitable for you and your game group;” said Tao Wong, CEO of Starlit Citadel. “That’s why we wanted to create the Game Wizard in the first place.  It’s a highly interactive method of choosing a new game based on the answers provided by the user.

“We faced quite a few problems when developing the Game Wizard including creating an appropriate design and ensuring it was sufficiently streamlined.  Since the production of the Wizard was not part of our everyday operations, the process took longer than we first anticipated.  Overall, we are extremely happy with the application and intend to keep it updated with new products and new questions.”

In the Game Wizard application; users are asked a series of questions based on their playing style and preferences.   Questions begin with obvious choices such as “What type of game are you looking for?” before drilling down to deal with questions about theme, number of players, fandoms and more.

The recommended game will generally provide imagery of the game itself along with a detailed description of the game, pricing and, when available, a video review to show components and explain the rules in more depth.
