June 19, 2014 - PRLog -- June 16, 2014 (St. Louis) – SlideBatch (www.slidebatch.com), a “free-mium” website that introduces a new way to visually communicate by sharing a small mix of digital content it calls a “batch”, officially announced its launch today.

Whether it is a web link, a YouTube video, a Word document, or a video from a mobile phone, SlideBatch enables you to quickly assemble media, choose a design, and share it with any size audience, privately or publicly.

“Missing in the market was a tool that allows people to efficiently communicate information that they have at their fingertips with a clear, laser-like focus. Utilizing a website or blog is too much of hassle and too clunky. Social media channels are more for a single post. Cloud services are more for documents. Sites such as YouTube and Pinterest are only videos or images and not focused on multiple content sources. SlideBatch solves this problem,” explained Paul Shirer, founder, CEO and lead architect.

The SlideBatch executive management team was also announced with Shirer and Mark Gallion, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Shirer and Gallion have targeted $1.5 million for the Company’s Round A of Venture Capital (VC) funding.

The management team will focus on growing its free offering by targeting content marketers, who “desire a tool to make posts on social media more visual and interesting”, said Shirer. As SlideBatch has a premium, white-label solution available, content marketers will be encouraged to upgrade their accounts to own their media and fully brand it. Beyond marketers, the team will focus on educators, developers and the general public. It believes that the shifting need to communicate quickly from anywhere puts SlideBatch in a unique position for any audience.

Shirer has more than 20 years of programming, management and marketing experience. In addition to his current role with SlideBatch, Shirer is CEO for Red Cloud Digital, the parent company of SlideBatch. He was a partner in a digital agency, MindActive, and held management positions with Shapevine, LLC and Tyco Healthcare. Shirer was also an Information Technology Instructor at Washington University. Shirer received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Florida State University, a Master of Education at DePaul University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

Gallion has more than 30 years of executive management, finance and professional consulting experience having worked at Emerson Electric as a Division President, Booz Allen Hamilton as a Principal and British Petroleum as an Engineering Manager. He received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa. Gallion is also a member of the executive management team of Computime Equity Ventures, a St. Louis-based technology investment firm.
