Olympian University in Alamogordo Offers up to $5,000 in Scholarships to Attend Cosmetology School

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. - June 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Olympian University, 1011 E. 10^th Street in Alamogordo is offering up to $5,000 scholarships to attend the award-winning cosmetology schools now through July 31. Students must start classes by Aug. 19.

    The schools are also offering $2,000 scholarships for the nail program. That scholarship is valid now through Dec. 31.  Grants and financial aid is also available for those who qualify.

    “I’ve often heard of men and women who have dreamed of working in cosmetology but didn’t feel they could afford the tuition,” said Margie Wisniski, vice president of operations. “With these scholarships, plus grants and financial aid to those who qualify, beauty school has become much more affordable to a greater number of men and women.”

    In addition to the cosmetology school in Alamogordo is affiliated with Olympian University in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Roswell, New Mexico, the ITS Academy of Beauty schools of Texas, Hair Benders Academy in Florida  and International Academy of Hair Design of Arizona. Scholarships are available at all schools, but amounts vary.
