By: Rotary Club of Fort Myers South The Law and Order Ball is an opportunity to thank the everyday heroes of our law enforcement agencies who keep us safe and enable us to build our businesses and thrive as a community. The agencies to be recognized are: Cape Coral Police Department, Fort Myers Police Department, Lee County Port Authority Police, Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Sanibel Police Department. Nominations from each agency for the “Officer of the Year” award, to be presented at the event, will be accepted through August 1, 2014. One special hero will be awarded and receive a custom designed piece by Rotarian Mark Loren, of Mark Loren Designs. This gala event will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a sumptuous dinner, and a silent and live auction. Entertainment will be provided by the popular local band Alter Ego, featuring retired Assistant U.S. Attorney Doug Molloy.
