Accomplished, Experienced Entrepreneur Tony Cord Joins the NCS Advisory Board

WASHINGTON - June 19, 2014 - PRLog -- National Crowdfunding Services, LLC (NCS) is pleased to announce that Tony Cord, has agreed to join the firm's Advisory Board.

The NCS Advisory Board assists NCS management in strategic development, planning, positioning in the rapidly growing crowdfunding marketplace. The Board also assists the firm in the commercialization of several new financial instruments designed by NCS to facilitate crowdfunding.

NCS is well positioned to be the catalyst in the DC small business and crowdfunding arena. The firm focuses on working with digital and other entrepreneurs of all backgrounds to generate, via crowdfunding, the initial funding they need to realize their dreams.

Mr. Cord will specifically assist with NCS as the firm establishes and launches the Washington, DC Crowdfunding Challenge, a locally based crowdfunding initiative for nonprofits, entrepreneurs and small business owners. NCS will present these individuals and firms to a community of crowdfunders or “sharks” for potential product, service and project funding.

Tony Cord is Co-Chairman of DC Innovates, a non profit organization with its dedication towards  innovative economy in Washington DC, and assists clients with strategic and corporate client development services, most recently as a member of the leadership team seeding and establishing Riveron Consulting's  Mid-Atlantic region M&A financial advisory practice

He is actively working for development of  the community as a trustee of Federal City Council of DC, member of the Economic Club of DC, ambassador with the DC College Success Foundation for inner-city achievers and is a member of the advisory board of DC CONNECT at the Department of Small and Local Business Development.

Mr. Cord holds an MBA from Southern Illinois University and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and Davidson College.
