Find Toxic Mold Hidden Inside Walls, Ceilings, Floors & HVAC of AZ & CA Homes, Suggests EnviroFry

PRLog - Jun. 19, 2014 - PHOENIX -- “Toxic mold is often hidden in Arizona, California, and Nevada homes and commercial buildings inside ceilings, walls, floors, heating/cooling equipment and ducts, attics, basements, and crawl spaces,” warn Certified Environmental Hygienists Phillip Fry, Hank Taylor and Lee Maglanoc of EnviroFry, who serve property owners and managers in all three states.

Despite the dry, desert nature of all three states, many property owners and managers neglect proper, ongoing building maintenance, homes, offices, and commercial buildings, with resulting roof leaks, siding and window leaks, plumbing leaks, air conditioning condensation pan and drip line leaks, and rampant mold growth inside heating/cooling equipment, ducts, and window air conditioners.

Read about how and why central heating/cooling systems and window or wall units are productive mold factories at www.airconditionermold.com.

EnviroFry environmental hygienists discover hidden mold growth through a number of high-tech tools, such as using a digital moisture meter to scan the surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings. If surface moisture is detected, there is likely to be mold growth deep into such wet areas.

Another good mold investigative tool is to use professional fiber optics borescope inserted into one inch diameter openings cut into floors, walls, and ceilings. The borescope enables the hygienist to see the inside such areas up to three feet in any direction from the insertion hole.

Another helpful mold inspection procedure is to do mold air testing with an air pump and Air-O-Cell cassette to determine (after mold lab analysis of collected air samples) if there are elevated levels of airborne mold spores in the outward air flow from heating/cooling duct registers and window/wall air conditioners, plus the air of each room, the attic, basement, and crawl space.

EnviroFry mold removal of hidden mold usually requires opening up surfaces to remove and throw out moldy building materials such as drywall and insulation and to remove mold growth from horizontal and vertical structural timbers.
